Alaska's Pearl

For years, I was told that I just had to go on an Alaskan cruise. Since I have been all over the world on over 35 cruises to exotic places like China, Russia and Egypt, Alaska seemed a little anti-climactic and was, therefor low on my list. However, after yet another friend told us that we just have to go, this past summer we decided to give it a try. We were very happy we did! It was everything everyone said it would be and more and after a very hot summer here in Florida, the cool mild weather of the Pacific Northwest was very refreshing!

Pride Family Cruises Alaska Trip June 2011

We just returned from an amazing Alaska cruise. We took a group onboard NCL's ship the Pearl. It left out of Seattle and stopped in Juneau, Ketchikan, Skagway and Glaceir bay. We saw whales and eagles but no Sarah Palin! lol Check out our Face Book page at Pride Family Cruises for pictures. Our next group cruise is going to be in January some place warm. :)

A different kind of Travel Agent

I hope this doesn’t come across like a solicitation; I mean for it to be a kind of public service message. My partner and I adopted our son David 13 years ago when he was 3 and he’s now approaching 16. As he started to become more independent, I looked for a way to get back into the work force after being a stay-at-home dad for all these years. Since we love taking cruises and have traveled all over the world, I decided to buy into a cruise travel franchise several years ago.
