My girl had a ectopic pregnancy and had to have surgery...she is doing fine but alomost lost her life due to the internal blood loss from her tube rupturing. I am so THNAKFUL that she is doing better and is back home. Maybe we will try again but just can't think about it too much right now.

Finally! We are having a baby!!! The 3rd try the IUI was successful! Wish us luck that all goes well!

It is so frustrating....we began with home insemination and are now going to the doctor. we have to try one more time at the doctor and then he says we can go to the next step. he mentioned an altrasound and then medicine. Just need some words of encouragement. each month she pees on the sticks and then when we get the pink lines, we go to the clinic. We know our donor so the cost is not quite as bad as it could be but it just seems all we do is wait, wait for the pink lines...then wait for the donor to get here.......then wait for the doctor....then wait to test!

What an experience, we went to the doc after getting the 2 pink lines on the LH Surge test strip. We were able to see the little swimmers under the microscope! Doc said FULL FEILD!!! Now we can test in the next couple days.....at first I had a real good feeling that this may be our lucky month but now I am just not sure. Wish us luck, I want my girl to have our baby!

Well, no luck again this month. The waiting takes everything out of us 2! We decided to see the doc for the next run! We called and talked to him and he has no problem using our donor sperm and doing the insemination in the office.

Well here we go again...sit and wait! Has anyone EVER had a baby with the at home insemination ?? PLEASE COMMENT!! We are about to give up hope on this journey. What a roller coaster ride. We just can't understand why after 3 months of trying, still nothing! Please give us some positive advice!

This is my first blog! We have attempted at home insemintion for the past 3 months. We have been together for the past 8 years. We have good jobs and own our home in Iowa. Og all places IOWA....right now it is pouring down rain and hail!
