We are a lesbian couple who now have a beautiful 4 year old. He is now asking where his daddy is. We have been going by the ANSWER what is asked theory. I am just getting a little worried that we handle this right. His biological father is my wife's brother (all in the family!)
We have told him that his "father" is in America (we have transplanted to rural France). Now he is saying he does not want to have 2 mommies, but wants one mommy and a daddy. I am sure this is "normal". Just a bit freaked out. Have any of you folks gone thru this phase yet? Would love to hear thoughts.
