vote '08

I sware, i keep reading and watching so much about the campaigning for this upcoming election. but it is just so frustrating because it seems like we are so close to having a president that actually supports gay marriage or civil unions however they word it. most important they support our equal rights as couples. i want to be able to have these benefits so badly but we still face an enormous amount of people who are still against it. i originally am from ny and even there it was tough living a gay lifestyle and now i am living in ga the old south and it just seems impossible! i mean for the most part people in this area seem to be "tolerable" of it but i would never call them accepting. i think this presidential race can really be a making or breaking point in out fight for equal rights and it is so important for everybody to get out and VOTE!!! am i the only one who is going absolutely crazy about this??? we need to vote DEMOCRAT. and hopefully over the next couple years things will begin to change. i wont have to worry about taking care of my partner or our children......i wish one day this wont be my worry.
