D.C. Mayor opposes Chick-fil-A expansion in city

D.C. Mayor Vincent Gray said that he won't support an expanded presence of Chick-fil-A in the District because of the fast-food chain's president's opposition to marriage equality. Gray referred in a tweet to the company's product as "hate chicken." His statement referenced his "long-standing strong support for LGBT rights and marriage equality." Similar statements have been made by mayors in Boston, Chicago and San Francisco that the company is not welcome.
