The Washington Blade reports that new ads are appearing on Christian radio and television stations in Virginia in an attempt to block a custody agreement handed down by a local Family Court judge.
Lisa Miller continues to fight against her former civil partner over their young daughter.
Miller went to Rutland Family Court and sought to eliminate or reduce the number of court-ordered visits her former civil-union partner has with her daughter, Isabella. Judge William Cohen denied that motion.
Jenkins sought primary custody of the 6-year-old girl. Cohen also denied that motion, but put Miller on notice that continued violation of court orders would put her custody in jeopardy. He also ordered Jenkins get custody of the child in Vermont for five weeks during the summer.
Ads from the Protect Isaballa Coalition, which are hosted online by Liberty University, suggest Virginia’s constitutional ban on same-sex unions is “being violated” by rulings in the custody case.
“Virginia does not recognize homosexual marriages and civil unions — or does it?” says one ad. “Activist judges say Isabella Miller has two mommies. And she must travel between Vermont and Virginia to spend time with both. Our marriage laws are not protecting this child. Virginia’s Constitution is being violated. This is tyranny. Will you help Isabella?”

there is more to this story.
Did you know that in other news accounts of this story Lisa Miller claims that Jenkins had no contact with her or her daughter since the child was a baby. That Lisa Millers daughter does not like Jenkins or want anything to do with Jenkins. I think the picture of her and Jenkins has been shown on other websites without her face blured and the child does not look happy, she looks scared and insecure. I believe there is an interview with Miller in which she mentions this picture and says that Jenkins forced her to pose for this picture. Jenkins never made a single move to adopt Millers child when they were a couple and Miller claims that she was abusive. Further more no part of Jenkins was used in the process of artificial ensimination. She also claims that Jenkins forced her dauther to bath with her naked. Jenkins should back off and let Miller raise her child on her own. The child doesn't know Jenkins and has been raised in a christian home. My opinion of this case is that Jenkins is bitter, Jealous, angry and alot of other things towards Miller, especially because she has renounced her homosexuality and become a born again christian. I feel that Jenkins only intentions here are to take away Millers child and try and alienate her and turn her against Miller. Jenkins should just get over it and move on.
