What's ahead for Michael Jackson's kids?
ProudParenting blogger - stephaniec - answers questions about the direction for Michael Jackson's three children.
She writes: "...in California, it doesn't matter if Michael used a sperm donor an egg donor and a surrogate for all of his children. Intent controls in California and as long as he had the intent to parent, and the third parties did not, he is the father."
Debbie Rowe is the legal mother of his two older children, Prince and Paris - and another woman acted as surrogate for the youngest child, Blanket. Rowe may end-up with visitation and custody rights to Prince and Paris. The hearing is scheduled for July 20.
stephaniec notes that Blanket has never been separated from his two older siblings and to separate them after they have lost so much would be harmful.
stephaniec is the founder of Extraordinary Conceptions, LLC, a surrogacy and egg donation agency. She's also an attorney specializing in assisted reproduction and family formation law.

Grieving: Paris, Prince, and Blanket viewed their father's body
Matt Lauer visited Neverland Ranch for an interview with Michael Jackson's older brother Jermaine on the Today show.
The most interesting part of the interview was the discussion about a viewing of the body by Michael's children.
msnbc.com reports: Jermaine explains that a hospital therapist thought it best that Prince, Paris and Blanket see their father's dead body so they could understand what had happened.
A therapist at the hospital advised that it would be best if Michael Jackson’s three children [pictured] - Prince Michael, Paris and Prince Michael II, nicknamed Blanket - saw their father so they could understand that he really was gone and begin the grieving process.
“I know it’s tough, but I think it was the best thing to do. At first I was against it, but what do you say if you don’t show them?” Jermaine Jackson told Lauer.
The children's ages are 12, 11 and 7.

i think that was the right desision, and even though im teribbly sad about jackson's lost im happy at the same time cause he finally gets a chance to go somewhere there is peace cause he really didnt have peace here on earth so im kinda glad he's gone to glory and god bless his family and his children

I was in tears today when Paris cried at the ceremony, I cried with her. Dear child I wish you and your brothers all the best and you know what... you know that he was the best dad in the world... as you said yourself today. He would be so proud of you!

the Jackson family made the right decision.if they didn't,it'd be harder for them to explain to the children later.as for the "egg donor"i think she should just stay out of Prince Michael's(the second)life because he is still only a little child and will only be confused with all these people in his face constantly.i believe that if all these people that are taking eachother to court over the children and the Will,loved Michael they would leave everything as it was before Michael left us.Michael wanted his children to be with his mother and family so everyone should respect his wishes and let what he wanted to be.the family are under going alot of pressure and the last thing they need to worry about are the children leaving them and all the other battles surrounding this case.for all those people who only took notice of what Michael did wrongly and not what he did right,should take a GOOD look at themselves before going around and pointing the finger at the "bad guy".Michael even though i didn't know you personally i LOVED YOU!!YOU ROCK!!

I love Michael Jackson I wish he was My dad, because he looks like a really nice guy, not that i would not want my own dad cause hes cool too. But I am only 11 years old!!!!!!! And Prince, Paris, and Blanket looks really nice too! And i wish I could meet them! They look really Nice to play with! I am an only child so thats why I kinda am bored!!!!!!
