Surrogacy

Well, we've made a decision on having a child together and it has been a little nerve racking. We saw the fertility doctor last week and we are just waiting on the go from the insurance. Waiting is the worse but I hope it all works out. I plan to carry my partners egg using a sperm donor because she's too chicken to give birth herself, lol. It is alot of work to do this process between the lawyers and seeing a psychiatrist to make sure we are in the right state of mind for all this but I know it will be all worth it!!

Congrats on making a big decision. I think it's great your sharing the experience biologically - carrying your partners eggs. It's fantastic! Remember, the more eggs you use, the better chance of pregnancy.

Congratulations to you both, Im sure it will all go well. My partner and I would like to do the same thing its just proving a little difficult in finding a clinic where they will go through the process. Can I ask what Clinic you used and if you have any useful links? I am from the UK and my partner is Danish, we are currently living in Denmark but dont mind travilling to a clinic. please email if you have any useful links or advice. thandk you good luck being parents :)
