Christine Gaiennie (left) and Patsy Lovell (right) - from Placentia, California - have welcomed quadruplets. Both women work as civilians for the Irvine Police Department. They have been together 5 years and have a 2-year-old son by the same sperm donor as the quads. The couple met on the job 14 years ago, when they worked as police dispatchers.

Surrogacy is happening in India too! A gay couple welcomes twins in Mumbai.

The Hindustan Times is reporting that an Israeli couple has left India with twins (a boy and a girl) who were conceived through surrogacy. The new dads worked with the Centre for Human Reproduction - in Mumbai - which matched them with an Indian woman to donate the eggs, and a separate surrogate.

Darlene gives birth!

Sara Gilbert, who played Darlene Connor on the hit t.v. show Roseanne from 1988-1997, is a mom again.

The actress, 32, and partner Allison Adler welcomed daughter Sawyer Gilbert Adler on August 2.

This is Sara’s first biological child, but is the second child with partner Allison Adler. Adler gave birth to their son Levi three years ago.

Gilbert, who played daughter Darlene on Roseanne Barr's hit ABC sitcom, now has a recurring role on ER.

Talk show host gives birth.

Romaine Patterson and her partner Iris welcomed their first child on July 20. Romaine Katherine Patterson was born by c-section at 4:57 PM, weighed in at 10 lbs, 7 oz and measured 21.5 inches.

Romaine (the mom) is co-host of the Sirius Satellite radio's OutQ talk show Derek and Romaine.

Mother Mary

Mary Cheney, Dick Cheney's daughter, delivered an 8-pound, 6-ounce baby boy on Wednesday. He is her first child. Samuel David Cheney was born at 9:46 a.m. at Sibley Hospital in Washington, the vice president's office announced.
