Wonderful! I am a dad with a son who will be in your shoes of waiting for "the system" to allow him to have a child of his own with his partner. Your story is an encouragement to me and to my grown child. Thanks for sharing. LB

My husband and I got a call early in July from our agency, asking if we'd like to be dads. Then, one week later, our son, Oliver, was born - beautiful and healthy! We were right there at the hospital, so we've been with him since he was four hours old! We are two very happy, excited, and sleepy, guys, getting used to lots of feedings and diaper changing, but we wouldn't have it any other way! He is incredible! Funny how life works - just when you think it's not going to happen - you get that call, and you have your son! Amazing!
