Rock band wants unconditional love, understanding, and support for LGBTQ+ youth

Dan Reynolds, lead singer of Imagine Dragons has organized LOVELOUD – a concert “designed to ignite the relevant and vital conversation of what it means to unconditionally love, understand, accept, and support LGBTQ+ youth in our communities.”

The LOVELOUD concert will be held on August 26th at Utah Valley University – the largest public university in the state. All proceeds from the concert will go to the LOVELOUD Foundation which lends support to various charities including The Trevor Project and GLAAD.

The influential musicians have been nominated for two Grammys, including Record of the Year (“Radioactive”), and won Best Rock Performance. Reynolds says, “LOVELOUD is the catalyst for bringing communities together to start the conversation and celebrate individuality. Talking, sharing and showing the realities of what teens in our society face daily is where it all begins.”
