This is the least egoistic thing I can do. It\u2019s not just about myself,\u201d she stated.<\/p>\n<p>Her decision to make her choice public was carefully thought out, Ben- Ari explained.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want to set an example and be a role model for other women who are successful but are worried about taking this step,\u201d she said. \u201cI also don\u2019t want people telling stories, since I\u2019m single and in the Knesset. I don\u2019t need all the gossip. This is the truth, this is what I did, now let\u2019s move on.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIsrael is very, very advanced when it comes to fertility treatments. The government helps a lot and it doesn\u2019t cost a lot if you don\u2019t need a sperm donor. I did it through a public hospital and found it to be inexpensive and accessible,\u201d she said. \u201cWe\u2019re better than the US and Europe on this; there\u2019s no comparison.
