American Fertility Association offers New York Family Matters Conference

The American Fertility Association’s New York Family Matters Conference is an all day educational event for anyone who wants to create a family.

The AFA says the event is egalitarian in nature, with three concurrent educational tracks to focus on the needs of couples, singles and the GLBT community. Panels, lectures and small round table discussion topics include vitro fertilization, egg freezing, adoption, ovum and sperm donation, and surrogacy.

Registration is $40 per person, and your registration fee includes:

  • Shuttle busses to and from Manhattan
  • Continental breakfast and coffee breaks; end-of-day wine and cheese reception
  • Conference materials and entrance to all workshops and lectures
  • Main exhibit hall featuring IVF programs, urologists, adoption agencies and attorneys, surrogacy and ovum donation agencies, pharmacies, and pharmaceutical companies

According to its website, the AFA is a national, non-profit organization serving the U.S. through its national office in New York City, and is a leader in providing men and women, health care professionals, public officials and the media, both nationally and internationally, with information about infertility treatments, reproductive and sexual health and family building options including adoption and third-party solutions.
